I was facing a nervous breakdown, depression and couldn't see a light from my very dark place. My husband had a major stroke with 4 T.I.A's my mum who lives in the flat below me was deteriorating she was breathless weak and tired. I thought I was alone dealing with all this plus my illness. Then I met Claire Wright who asked me if I would like to come to the veterans big breakfast and their model making class. I went along and at first I was unsure of how I would fit in. I needn't of worried. They made me very welcome. Now I show how to make crafts on a Wednesday evening. It has given me that light at the end of a dark tunnel. I look forward to Wednesday's as its my escape. It definitely has given me something to look forward to. Even my husband is getting exercise as he goes to the walking football the group holds. It is helping with his recovery as he is mixing with different people which is difficult after a stroke. So from both of us "thank you Trafford veterans" 'Janet: Facebook'
